In 2019 the Ontario Recreation District Pool Committee was formed with the sole intent of bringing the Ontario Aquatic Center back to life. This committee began with the involvement of several community members who have been focused on this project for years prior to our creation. Since then we have been working diligently in order to prepare to renovate and bring the ORD Aquatic Center back to life. This has included a deep "dive" into all of the information available on the facility. Almost a decade of studies, surveys, and assessments helped our committee develop a short term and long term plan for this facility. We are governed by five guiding laws that help ensure the committee remains focused on providing a great facility for this community. We encourage any and all community members to reach out and "jump in" and help with the project!
